Parish Council

The purpose of the Pastoral Parish Council is to assist the pastor in the pastoral care of the Parish. The council is only an advisory body. It advises and offers its opinion. It does not have legislative or decisive power. The governing of the Parish is, by law, in the hands of the pastor.  The name of the Council Members, who meet monthly, are listed below.

Finance Committee

A consultative body established  to advise and assist the pastor and the Parish Pastoral Council in matters pertaining to financial affairs of the parish including but not limited to preparation of a budget, review of financial reports and making recommendations concerning the viability of large item maintenance and project expenditures.  Membership is by appointment by the pastor and limited to active members of the parish.  The relationship between the pastor and the committee is one of support and collaboration.  The authority of the pastor, as defined by Canon Law, to act on behalf of the parish, is not changed by the establishment of this committee. This Committee has been tasked with putting together a comprehensive plan to communicate the changes taking place to parishioners, surrounding parishes, civil governments and organizations, and Archdiocese of Cincinnati. This incorporates all forms of communication including but not limited to in-person, written, video, social media, website, etc.


Updates completed or currently in progress include:

  • Social media pages, Facebook, and Instagram – daily posts on each platform
    • GroupMe page for our Young Adults/Teenagers (private page, monitored by Parish Staff)
  • Website with additional Committee updates and information
  • Requesting Committees to update, minimum on quarterly basis
  • Created comprehensive roster of parish and local community personnel and businesses
  • Marketing and branding, including new parish logo and color scheme
  • Promotional materials for Festival; working Festival Booth
  • New parish spirit wear products and order form
