Marriage
More delightful is your love than wine!” Song of Songs 1:2a
Congratulations on your engagement! We are excited to begin this journey with you towards a lifelong marriage!
The Church helps you to invest in your marriage through a time of preparation and formation. Therefore, couples who wish to be married in the parish should contact the parish as soon as you decide to marry and at least 9 months prior to their expected wedding date. This should be done before any other permanent arrangements are made for the wedding date and reception. Contact the parish office at 513-554-1010.
Archdiocesan Guidelines require that engaged couples participate in a marriage preparation process best suited to their needs. This will be explained in your initial meeting with the priest or deacon.
If you are a divorced person wishing to be married in the Catholic Church, please contact Beth Pettigrew, Pastoral Associate who will be able to answer your questions concerning annulments. Beth.pettigrew@catholicreading.church or 513-554-1010.
