Mark your calendars! The Missions in Motion annual bingo will be on Thursday, April 13, in the Our Lady of the Valley cafeteria. More information will follow. We look forward to seeing everyone again this year!
Other Missions in Motion activities include:
- Collection of IGA receipts for their Direct Your Dollars support program. This is another way for us to benefit St. Mary’s Mission in Tohatchi, NM. Please help us by putting your full IGA receipt in the collection basket in an envelope marked to the attention of Missions in Motion.
- Collection of empty pill bottles for Matthew 25 Ministries and small religious items. These items may be dropped off in the parish office.
- Administration of the St. Mary’s Mission Memorial Fund. For a donation, your loved one will be remembered in a Mass offered at St. Mary’s twice a month, in perpetuity. The name of your loved one and donation can be placed in the collection basket or dropped off at the parish office. Checks should be made payable to Our Lady of the Valley parish, with Missions in Motion Memorial Fund written in the memo.
Please keep in mind that Missions in Motion only has two fundraisers each year. The St. Mary’s Mission church envelopes are not used to benefit any of our projects. Please contact any Missions in Motion members to hear more about our group or join us at our meeting on Thursday, February 9 at 6:30pm in the Parish Center, Conference Room C.
