We all know a heart attack can happen anywhere, even at church. One of the goals of the Our Lady of the Valley Network of Care is to prepare parishioners to deal with a medical emergency should one occur during a service at church or social event on parish property.
In 2022 Network of Care hosted “Stop the Bleed,” a training program that was open to the entire family of parishes. Coming this spring will be a class on CPR and AED.
Both an AED (automated external defibrillator) and Stop the Bleed supplies are located in the vestibule of our church on the left side. Please make yourself aware of these kits in case they are ever needed! Taking the training and knowing the location of these lifesavers could save a life!
